FRP, or fiber-reinforced plastic, is a composite material that was developed abroad in the early 20th century. It offers numerous advantages, including lightweight construction, high strength, corrosion resistance, thermal insulation, electrical insulation, and soundproofing. FRP doors and windows are constructed using medium-alkali glass fiber roving and fabric as reinforcement materials, with unsaturated resin serving as the matrix. These components are combined through a specialized process, with the addition of various mineral fillers. The mixture is then heated, cured, and extruded into a variety of hollow profiles with different cross-sections.
1. Lightweight and High Strength: Four times lighter than steel and comparable in strength to carbon steel.
The density of FRP profiles is only 1.7, making them 4 to 5 times lighter than steel. However, their tensile strength ranges from 350 to 450 MPa, which is comparable to that of ordinary carbon steel. Additionally, their wind pressure resistance performance reaches 5.3 KPa. No steel lining reinforcement is necessary, as they are both strong and durable.
2. Energy Saving and Heat Preservation: With ultra-low thermal conductivity, energy savings meet the national standard level 10.
The thermal conductivity is only 0.39 W/(m·K), which is 1/100 to 1/1000 that of metals. With its hollow structure and sealing strip, the heat preservation performance is excellent.
Single-frame double-glass window: heat transfer coefficient of 2.2 W/(m²·K) (National Standard Level 8)
Single-frame triple-glass window: heat transfer coefficient of 1.8 W/(m²·K) (National Standard Level 9)
Single-frame triple glazing with low-emissivity (low-e) glass has a heat transfer coefficient of 1.3 W/(m²·K), which meets national standard level 10.
3. Excellent sealing: dustproof, waterproof, and windproof, ensuring a comfortable home.
Adopting adhesive and screw connection technology, combined with rubber and wool strips for comprehensive sealing, as confirmed by authoritative testing.
Air Tightness: National Standard Level 5 (GB/T 7107-2002)
Water Tightness: National Standard Level 3 (GB/T 7107-2002)
4. Eco-friendly and sustainable: safe for health and free from radioactive pollution.
In compliance with the GB6566-2001 standard, "Limits of Radioactive Nuclides in Building Materials, the internal and external irradiation index is as low as 0.2, making it genuinely healthy and environmentally friendly.
5. Superior Sound Insulation: Create a Tranquil Environment
Double-Glazed Window: Sound Insulation of 36 dB
Triple-glazed window: sound insulation rating of 39 dB (National Standard Level 4)
Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to acids, alkalis, and salts, with a lifespan of up to 50 years.
It exhibits strong resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, seawater, and humid environments, making it particularly suitable for coastal, chemical, and high-humidity areas. Its service life significantly exceeds that of ordinary PVC, lasting up to 50 years compared to just 15 years for standard PVC.
7. Dimensional Stability: Resistant to Cold and Hot Deformation
The linear expansion coefficient is only 7.3 × 10⁻⁶ /℃, which is one-fifteenth that of plastic. It does not soften at high temperatures, does not crack at low temperatures, and maintains its shape after prolonged use.
8.Strong weather resistance: stable from -50°C to 200°C.
The thermal deformation temperature exceeds 200°C, providing high-temperature resistance and severe cold resistance. This material is designed to adapt to extreme climates without aging or becoming brittle.
9. Insulation and Anti-Interference: Safe and Reliable with Excellent Wave Transmission
Excellent insulation performance; non-conductive and non-reflective to radio waves, making it suitable for high-voltage environments, communication base stations, laboratories, and other specialized locations.
10. Shock Absorption and Anti-Resonance: Ensuring a Quiet, Comfortable, and Stable Structure
The elastic modulus is 20,900 MPa, which effectively absorbs vibrations, prevents resonance damage, and enhances the durability of doors and windows.
11. Stunning Customization: A Variety of Colorful Options to Complement High-End Architecture
The surface can be coated with a variety of colors to accommodate different architectural styles and enhance the overall texture of the facade.
